Under the Lid
A sticker with a unique QR code will be placed under each candle's lid. The QR code links to a PDF where the consumer can learn some care tips, not just for their candle but for their mental wellness.
In 2021, I took part in the Ted Rogers Retail Conference hosted by Ryerson University, which was open for applications. Accepted as a conference attendee, I had to compete in a case competition by a sponsored brand called nomz (which is a minimalistic health brand looking to launch a candle). I took a giant leap of faith and put my all into winning this contest, tying for first place. I created a slogan, a name, and a social media plan. I successfully used the pre-existing nomz branding, showed concepts for a subscription box, and even pre-visualized concepts for a QR code with PDF candle care instructions, as well as what the product would look like on a shelf. This project showed my ambition as well as my passion for the retail space!
